Interest in learning salsa? Want to impress your friends? Or, is there a wedding coming up and you want to learn a partner-dancing? Maybe, you just want to improve on any basic skills or techniques? My name is Andrew and I have been dancing for more than 7 years, starting with bboying in high school and then Latin dancing. I was a Ballroom Director for the student organization on campus during my college study, as well as joined the SJSU Ballroom Dancesport Team. Right now, I am offering private lesson to beginner and beginner-intermediate for salsa. My lessons are catered in developing basic fundamental techniques and footwork. After the mastery of the basic fundamental technique and footwork, we will then work toward building patterns. My goal is to make sure my students are comfortable and confident enough in dancing to a full 3 mins songs. Throughout the courses, I will also introduce dance theory and music theory. By combining theories with body mechanic, I am striving to inspire my students to fall in loving with dancing, or at least, a better appreciation in the world of dance. I mainly do home visit because I am not part of any dance studio. Feel free to message me for information regarding lessons.

Andrew is truly a professional! My husband and I are both novice dancers and Andrew has made each lesson fun yet very informative. He is very easy to work with, has lots of patience and has a firm understanding of all types of dance that he teaches. I never thought my husband or I would be able to dance and use real dance moves but with Andrews help we are learning a lot and having a blast doing it. We are learning specific moves and techniques all thanks to our great instructor. I would recommend Andrew in a heartbeat.

I have already taken a lot of dance classes including Salsa, but only attending irregular group classes it was hard to retain the basics and my dancing got a little sloppy. Andrew got me up to date with basic fundamentals, all through this online course. I didn't have a lot of faith in the online format at first, but Andrew quickly gave me confidence he could teach me. He carefully observed each of my movements and was patient in helping me improve little by little. My girlfriend (who has a lot of salsa background and was embarrassed to dance with me prior to my classes with Andrew) noticed a huge improvement after I took just a few classes from Andrew. Such fun! This was my fifth lesson with Andrew. I have learned soooo much. I appreciate how he not only breaks down the physical movements but also breaks down the music and instruments so I better understand how it all comes together! These lessons are worth every penny!
